American Red Cross Blood Drives

The Center for Service & Civic Engagement hosts an American Red Cross Blood Drive once a month on campus.  We collect over 600 pints of blood a year, making Old Dominion University one of the largest blood donors in the region.  Please see the chart below for a list of the upcoming drives.  Walk-ins are welcome at all drives, but we highly encourage making an appointment to avoid lines.  To make an appointment, please visit www.givelife.org and use the sponsor code "ODU".

Volunteers and Sponsoring Groups are also a huge part of the success of Blood Drives at ODU.  Sponsoring groups are responsble for providing volunteers to work registration and canteen, publicity on campus, and recruiting blood donors.  To learn more or to sign up to sponsor a blood drive, please email the Center at volunteer@odu.edu.
