Interfraternity Council
The Old Dominion University Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the governing body for the nine national North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternity chapters and one national NIC fraternity colony on campus. The IFC men work together to unite fraternities in friendly competition, to focus on common goals, and to create a network of support for chapters and members.
The IFC and its member chapters are active in intramural sports, community service and supporting ODU athletic activities. Up to four delegates from each chapter serve on the council, while officers are elected from the different chapters to plan and support IFC activities.
The Fraternity & Sorority community is proud to welcome three new fraternities to the Interfraternity Council. Over the next three years the council will be bring three new organizations to campus. These groups include:
